                    INITIAL STORY BOARD





    This is our initial story board and shows the flow of our final project. In the beginning, it starts off with high key lighting and short dialogue between the parents leaving for a trip and the young teenager staying home alone. Then, it cuts time to the young teenager (blue outline) home alone at night. Following that, it shows the killer (red outline) sneak up on (blue outline), chase and almost kill the main character. During, the chase will be shown with trucking of the camera. The main character then grabs the knife and stabs the killer, it fades to an extreme close up of her/his eyes where sweat drips and the fear is obvious. 

    In this initial project and storyboarding, we did this in person taking turns drawing and coming up with the plot line. We brainstormed a few ways to illustrate the main idea of the horror and plot. After trial and error, we decided we liked this skit the most. Finished up by adding mis-en-scene with different looks of the modern house and setting.

Group Dynamics      Almost at the end! But not quite… my area of work and focus is really just getting started! I loved this project, because Aden and I split the work evenly, in my opinion! My partner Aden Mangones did the majority of the directing and planning out the film! But for the particular details of our film Aden included detailed mis en scene and creating intricate shots. We both knew he was the more intricate one which he used for his directing role. I did the acting as the main character, and he had a role as the killer's hand. When we began planning, we brainstormed and planned the story together. He even came up with the title sequence!
