PREPARING TO FILM...AGAIN!

    While preparing to film we realized we did not like our plot line nor characters! And the film was overall unrealistic and bland to create. So, we restarted! This is the updated preparation to our filming. So, after creating our brand new story board and line. We started on our script and the nitty gritty left out prior. 

    To begin with, there will only be two new actors in our new plot line. The main genre will be the same, how we are displaying it is MUCH different. The first actor will be play by me, Carey Joyce. This character will be named Ella and she represent our main victim who is home alone at the time of the incident. The second character is played by Aden Mangones, my partner. He will play the killer, whose only part is to jump scare the audience by grabbing Ella's hand. We knew we wanted to have my character be a girl. Not only because it gives a sense of vulnerability, but we knew that different emotions can be declared more clearly through faces of a girl without any dialogue. 

    The location of the filming while be at my residence. Including the main living space, bathroom, kitchen, back and front yard. The time has to be set at sunset/night which Aden and I have accounted for to meet up at my house. More specifically, we are planning to meet up February the week February 12-16 at night to film and acquire our different shots! Film equipment that we would LOVE to use, include a crane, drone, Stedi-Cam, and good quality camera! We would to acquire these items to borrow from Beacon as they visit our class. However! If not available we are prepared to shoot and film using our phone cameras! We will use a ladder for high shots, and keep our hands steady when filming. All in all, starting to prepare for the film and it is going well! 

Our script is mostly action based! We go through the different shots and perspectives we would like to take. The script will be shown here!
